The profits from Club Marion or MSCC are utilised to continually provide quality services to members & the local community.

Rotary Club of Marion, South Australia, District 9520. The Rotary Club of Marion was inaugurated on the 13th of May, 1970. On the 27th of August 1970 the Club was presented with its Charter by District Governor Ross Irvine. Hosted at the Marion Hotel. Meetings are held on Monday nights at 6.15pm for 6.30pm (excluding public holidays).

South Adelaide Panthers.The South Adelaide Basketball Club (SABC) was formed in 1948. It was one of the foundation clubs in the sport of basketball in South Australia. Within these early years of basketball the club has had much success with Men & Women senior & junior teams. The Men's ABA team has won many premiership flags with the most recent coming in 1998 winter season.

It was in August 2002 that Sunrise purchased the Marion Campus from the Maranatha Christian Assembly. The church had contacted Sunrise about taking over the school which it had lovingly grown over some 20 years. Since 2002 the numbers at the Campus have more than doubled. Not only did the purchase of the Campus swell the ranks of enrolments, administrative and teaching staff; it also introduced its own 8 – 12 programme replacing the existing ACE programme. The Marion Campus is the only Sunrise Campus to house a high school. It is a single stream high school modelled on the Sunrise credo of a family atmosphere that emphasises godly character and assists each student to reach their potential.
