Anderson Medical is a Surgical Practice which has been established in the southern aspect of Adelaide at Morphett Vale. It is bordered on one side by McLaren Vale which is a large wine-growing area. The practice specifically services southern Adelaide which is 20% of the Adelaide population, however as the practice has developed it now caters for metropolitan Adelaide and interstate and overseas patients. The practice consists of Dr Paul Anderson, a surgeon who was trained in Bariatric surgery by Professor Jim Watts and Professor M. Belachew (Dr Anderson is also a specialist in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery). Associated with this practice is the Ashford Surgical Obesity Centre. This provides for complete patient care and on referral to associated specialists. The clinical director of the clinic is Dr Stephen Sabine assisted by Dr Bernie Lorenzen.
