| Description: | Wirreanda is a specialist sport school. It is one of only two state secondary schools with this specialization. This means that Wirreanda has a record of high-level achievement in this area and is regarded as a school that has the capacity to deliver quality sports programs. We currently offer 8 specialist sports in our specialist sports course which is offered to select students in Years 8-10. Students apply for entry to our sports course and are selected on the basis of skill, aptitude and attitude. Our focus over the next few years is expansive and exciting. We are committed to building on past strengths and providing an education program that is comprehensive, engaging, and relevant. We already cater for multiple career pathways, including a strong focus on the academic, trades (and vocational), arts and technology pathways. |
