Perfectly located only 3 minutes to the pristine Normanville beach or choose from numerous other splendid beaches for swimming and surfing. It is a short drive to wineries, golf courses, magnificent restaurants, cafés and village shopping precinct. Coastview Escape can accommodate from 2 up to 12 people.

Ellron Quarter Horses was established by Geoff and Michelle Brown in 1990 in the southern vales famous wine region McLaren Vale and in 2000 relocated to Yankalilla. During these years we have proudly bred, raised, sold, shown and owned many Futurity Champions, Grand and Reserve Champions at State and National levels in the Paint and Quarter Horse arena's.

At Ellron Quarter Horses we strive to produce and provide a World Class Halter Horse, with a good mind, form to function, soundness and conformation to the "standard of excellence". You will find an Ellron bred horse in every state of Australia.

Lilla’s Cafe is a unique dining experience in the Fleurieu Peninsula, located in the small country town of Yankalilla. Lilla’s provides a tantalising gourmet menu with local food and wine produce. Each meal is prepared fresh on the premise. Dine in a rustic and creative restaurant with family and friends. Enjoy a meal, coffee and cake and then take in the sights of Yankalilla, Normanville, Carrickalinga, Second Valley and Rapid Bay. Please come in and meet our friendly and welcoming staff. You can identify us by the large tin cow at the front.

Snuggled in a picturesque valley, Sleepy Hollow Cottage Bed and Breakfast, provides comfort and country seclusion for the discerning visitor. Just 4 minutes drive from Yankalilla and 8 minutes from beautiful Normanville Beach.

Visitors to Sleepy Hollow can enjoy roaming over the 42 acre property with its large red gums, viewing a multitude of native birds. Kangaroos can be seen grazing at dawn and dusk and from time to time echidnas on their endless hunt for ants.

The Yankalilla Centre is ACH Group's newest completed development. It offers accommodation for 64 residents in both High and Low level care. Situated at Yankalilla it has priority entry to residents of the Fleurieu as well as offering "Ageing in Place" for Low Level Care residents who transfer to High Level Care. The Yankalilla complex is ideally situated in the central part of the township and has been developed with an adjoining Medical and Health Centre.

Twin Bays is a small boutique winery located between Normanville and Yankalilla on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. It is a family run venture specialising in distinctive Reds, cool crisp Whites and unique original signature wines.

The truly captivating view from the vineyard and winery, which is sited on the slopes above Normanville, is a spectacular panorama formed by rolling hills, valleys and coastal plains, with the rugged Rapid Bay and the more tranquil Lady Bay, as its centre piece.

Yankalilla Area School offers students a wide range of subjects from reception right up to Year 12. Although we might not be as large as some suburban schools, we pride ourselves on what we have available to our students to improve their learning environment.

Education at Yankalilla and the surrounding districts has a very long and interesting history, with the first public school building erected on our present site in 1859. This building is now our Annexe classroom. The land for the school was donated by Mr Septimaner Herbert, Mr Robert Norman gave the bricks and tradesmen gave their labour. Finance for equipment and materials was provided by the Board of Education and local trades people.

The Yankalilla Community Children’s Centre is situated approximately 75kms. south of Adelaide on the main road between the rural town of Yankalilla and the coastal town of Normanville. It is opposite the Yankalilla Area School and close links between these two Services are valued.

The Centre serves a large, diverse and growing district that also incorporates the towns and catchment areas of Inman Valley, Delamere, Second Valley, Rapid Bay, Cape Jervis, Wattle Flat, Myponga, Carrickalinga and the Wirrina Cove Development. Dairy farming is the main rural industry. Mixed farming, tourism, fishing & local services are also employment and leisure attractions. Many children travel to the Centre by school bus.

The District Council of Yankalilla is situated an hour south of Adelaide within the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula and is known for its pristine natural coastline. The Council is composed of nine Councillors representing four wards. The members of Council, pursuant to Section 51 of the Local Government Act 1999, elect one of their members as Mayor who holds the position of Presiding Officer of Council as well as representing a ward. The Mayor receives a deliberative vote as a Councillor but not a casting vote.
