Seaford 6 – 12 School is the only purpose built middle and senior school in South Australia and is a national award winning school. The school has won national awards on six occasions through the Australian Government Quality Teaching Awards in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

The school has been recognised nationally through the Australian Curriculum Corporation for outstanding work in Values Education with the publication of case studies about the school’s practices in Values Education in the curriculum. Five Churches working together in Seaford, South Australia. Seaford Ecumenical Mission (SEM) is situated to the south of Adelaide in a rapidly developing new suburban area which is nestled between the famous vineyards of McLaren Vale and the surf and sand of the ocean beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula where small holiday villages have welcomed generations of South Australians.

The SEM Centre is home to five Christian Churches, Anglican, Catholic, Church of Christ, Lutheran and Uniting, who have come together as four congregations to witness to the unity which Jesus Christ desires for his people.

In a unique fellowship of Christians of differing traditions, the members of the SEM community are committed to creating a healthy, caring and spiritual community for the benefit of the people of Seaford and beyond.

Seaford Recreation Centre has something for all. Seaford Recreation Centre is quite simply something special! It’s our newest centre, opened 29 March 1998 and is our gem in the south. The front doors lead into a bright, airy gym, with fitness-boosting cardio equipment and muscle-toning strength equipment. The group fitness room has a sprung floor and plenty of space for classes, which include ever-popular BODYPUMP (to tone up) and the mind/body session, BODYBALANCE.

Seaford Sports & Social Club is a successful and progressive community club that offers enjoyment through safe, friendly, family oriented sporting and social activities. The Seaford Sports and Social Club was established in 1974 and is situated on Norseman Street in the suburb of Port Noarlunga South. The Club has been established as both a social and sporting complex offering licensed facilities and sporting activities to the Seaford community. Its major sporting focus is associated with the sport of football (soccer). We also have two Darts Teams and a Pool team. The Club is open every night of the week and is well patronised.

The Club has in excess of 250 members with the majority of the Club membership associated through their involvement with the 17 football teams the Club fields.

Seaford/Moana Neighbourhood Centre

At the Seaford/Moana Neighbourhood Centre on any day of the week you will find over 25 friendly and dedicated people volunteering at the Neighbourhood Centre. The jobs they undertake include; reception, administration, gardening, basic maintenance, creche work, bookkeeping, desktop publishing and data entry to name a few. The management committee members of the Centre are also volunteers and work diligently to ensure the services, activities and programs are meeting the varied needs of you, our community. They are integral in managing the day-to-day effectiveness; the applying for and acquitting of funds, the marketing and promotion of activities, the fundraising opportunities and much more.

There are many opportunities for volunteers, you can learn a new skill, meet new friends, share your expertise with others and know that you are making a difference in our community.
